Hello, fellow food lovers! I'm Pheh Sze, but you can just call me PS (to make your life easier!). I'm originally from Penang, Malaysia - the food capital of Malaysia and also known as the 'Food Paradise of Asia'. After graduating from the UK, I've moved to Australia, a country I'd never stepped foot in before. It's funny how food has this power to bring people together, no matter where you are in the world.
Every new place I've lived, I've found that food is my bridge to connect with new friends and fellow food enthusiasts. Now, I'm on a mission to share the flavours, stories and experiences of my home country with you. Visit Petaling Street, Guan Di Temple, Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, and Kampung Baru. Today start our day with a Morning Market Tour at 9:00 AM, learning about local ingredients and cooking techniques. Create your own 3-course lunch, including an appetizer, main course and dessert. Learn to cook traditional Malaysian dishes with guidance from local chefs Enjoy the experience with the instructor & fellow participants After cooking class, we will visit to : - Petaling Street Market (China Town) Bustling shopping district with haggling vendors offering a range of goods, from clothing to food. Guan Di Temple Kuala Lumpur This tour is more than just food, it’s a cultural experience! In between food stops, discover city highlights for a well-rounded experience that will satisfy your appetite for Kuala Lumpur. Sri Maha Marianman Temple The Sri Mahamariamman Temple is the oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Founded in 1873. Kampung Baru Kampung Baru, which is the last Malay village in KL City Centre. Explore the Traditional Houses: Take a leisurely stroll through the village and admire the traditional Malay houses with their unique architectural features. Some of these houses have been preserved for generations and offer a glimpse into the past.

Day 3: Mah Meri Cultural Village + Sekinchan paddy field & omakaseDiscover the Mah Meri Tribe’s ancient traditions and take part in a full cultural show. Explore Sekinchan’s scenic rice paddies and enjoy a private Omakase dinner. After breakfast, we will proceed to Ma Meri Cultural Village About Ma Meri Village The ancient Mah Meri tribe, sometimes referred to as the ‘Masked Men of Malaysia’, is one of 18 indigenous communities living in Peninsula Malaysia. They are widely regarded as highly-skilled mask makers; some of their handicraft have been known to fetch thousands of dollars. While many of the natives have assimilated into modern life, with jobs in nearby plantations and farms, much care has been taken to ensure that their ancient rituals and customs are documented and preserved. There is a small gallery/museum and traditional house in the village compound that is open to visitors. Activities at Mah Meri Village : - Welcoming Headdress and drink Traditional Games Wood carving Atap Weaving Leaf Origami Galleries Full Cultural Show and Participate in Traditional Wedding ceremony We finally will visit Sekinchan ** Sekinchan is a fishing village, it is a lot more famous for its beautiful stretches of rice paddies. These rice paddies dominate the landscapes of Sekinchan, and it is probably the best thing to do in Sekinchan Visiting the Sekinchan rice paddy fields is a must if you come from a stressful city such as Kuala Lumpur as they remind you of the simpler days. Private Omakase Dinner at Ninja Private Kitchen Ninja Private Kitchen stands out from the rest as the restaurant is located on a paddy field, and it is completely outdoor. From the moment you arrive, you'll feel like you’ve been transported to a picnic spot straight out of a movie.

Day 4: Travel to Penang + City View at The TOP Komtar Rainbow Skywalk and Observatory DeckHigh-speed train to Penang. Visit The TOP Komtar for panoramic views and enjoy Penang’s breathtaking night skyline. Today we will proceed to Penang by train (High Speed Train / 1145hrs-1515hrs). Upon arrival, proceed to Penang via Penang Bridge. We wll visit to The TOP Komtar after check in hotel. Uncover Penang’s night view from its most elevated vantage point. Climb atop the city’s iconic tower and be fascinated by uninterrupted nighttime landscapes. Partake an exciting walk on the Rainbow Skywalk, with George Town and its lights underneath your feet. If you prefer a peaceful ambiance, level 65’s Observatory Deck presents panoramic vistas in a cozy backdrop. Enjoy traditional Nyonya lunch with cooking demo Funicular ride up Penang Hill for stunning views and lush rainforests. Today, we take a captivating tour of George Town, diving into the heart of its UNESCO Heritage Site. Wander through the vibrant Chowrasta Market, Penang’s largest and greenest market, a perfect spot for people-watching and soaking up local culture. Pick up local treasures like Tau Sar Piah (bean-paste biscuits) and preserved nutmeg at great prices. Continue your exploration at Fort Cornwallis, then stroll through the water village of The Clan Jetties at Weld Quay, and hunt for stunning street art along Penang Street Art. Visit Khoo Kong Si, one of the most impressive clan houses, renowned for its intricate carvings and masterful woodwork from China. Drive along the “Street of Harmony,” where churches, Chinese temples, mosques, and Hindu temples coexist peacefully. For lunch, we get to discover the unique and traditional Nyonya food with a demonstration followed by lunch at one of the most famous restaurant in Penang. Discover a different side of Penang Hill on the fringes of a 130 million year old rainforest. Day 6: Penang Tropical Fruit Farm & Fruit Tasting + Pinang Peranakan Mansion Visit + Wau Bulan Batik Craft WorkshopVisit Penang Tropical Fruit Farm with Fruit Tasting Visit Peranakan Mansion and Indian lunch with banana leaf Participate in a Wau Bulan Batik Workshop and learn the significance of kite-making in Malaysian culture. Penang Tropical Fruit Farm with Fruit Tasting Penang Tropical Fruit Farm with Fruit Tasting is situated in Teluk Bahang, with a breathtaking view of the hilly terrains and the Indian Ocean. Take a guided farm tour and learn about 140 species of local and regional tropical fruits. Opportunity to taste the various tropical fruits in season and the introduction of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) process, enzyme process and the natural soap making process. Pinang Peranakan Mansion Visit the former house of Chinese Captain, the Pinang Peranakan Mansion and marvel at their collections not found elsewhere. This elite house featured many recollection memories when the Chinese immigrants inter-marriage with the locals and created a fusion of east meets locals, hence a new tradition was borne.
